Fab Vintage

Hi guys! I just scored some fabulous new items I am going to be adding to the store... (just hold on to your socks!!lol) This is a pair of vintage cardboard 'Christmas display' signs. Scored two for the price of one! I'll be adding one to the store, of course I have to keep one! I just love the pink stripes and green banner at the bottom. In the picture above is showing the two sides... One side says, "Cheerful giving to all the family" and the opposite side says, "Happier living through out the year."
This is a fabulous vintage printers drawer that makes such an awesome 'shadow box'. We have one, and every time our family has gone on vacation, a tiny treasure was purchased for the box. Yes, the inside paper is peeling but cant you just see some vintage papers or pictures glued in there to cover it up! Fresh!

Here is a cute chalk ware doggy! Isn't he cute? Couldn't you see him in a little guy's nursery? Chippy and weathered make him even more irresistible.
Aren't these sculpturaly interesting in themselves? This 'Zero' vintage fan would make an awesome addition to any one's collection.
The picture really doesn't do this vase justice, it actually has a faint hint of pink in it. Just right for spring blossoms, oh please let spring come quickly Lord to the WI!
Isn't this little can great? I just love it!! I am soo tempted to keep it... but alas, I promised my DH that I would sell...sell...sell...my purchases.
This is such a neat vintage 'Stetson' hat box! Can you see the house with the American flag?!! I just fell in love with the colors. Hat boxes are so perfect for storage of such a number of items! Think magazines, silk flowers, vintage paper and photos... ahhh...the list goes on.
I have a few more things I scored, but I'm savin' showing them... I hope everyone's week went well!
love,

Hey Cristine, Wow! You scored some great stuff. I love old fans and have two in my home just for the look. I found an aqua fan this summer but it's not working properly and I need to get it fixed before I can sell it. I just know someone would love an aqua fan. I just got home from treasure hunting too. Found a darling little lamb planter and a sweet old wedding cake topper. I am off to work in the yard. You have a great day! ~ Lynn

Love all your new stuff.....we have a version of the vintage typeset tray that we use for an advent calender....each day there is a tiny package with a Bible verse that the children open and then read!

Have a blessed day,

kari and kijsa

I love the old printer's boxes. I have 3 that I refurbished over 30 years ago and I still love looking at the treasures in them every day. Now dusting them is another story...I use a small paint brush as a duster!

oh my missy, I am not sure what I love most, now the sign is adorable, the talc tin how fab, may have to see if I can stretch to buying, I think it would look great in the nursery I am hoping I shall have a reason for soon.
Shadow boxes are so hard to come by in the UK, my mom has one she puts all the treasures we use to buy her on our antique shopping trips as kids
