Knobs..Knobs...knobs...

Okay, call me crazy! I'm excited, I just got these glorious knobs in the mail today. Oh, I've been wanting some since forever! These beauties came from an older Texas estate home...oh, to actually be able to see the stately home these came from! Glorious!
No, I'm not going to use how you might think. The majority of the knobs in my house now are vintage 107 year old white porcelain ones. Very pretty, wouldn't want to change them.
I want to re purpose these beauties to hold art work like my soldered cross I made a bit ago. I also have this idea to use these as garden art! Yes, I have seen them on the end of copper piping and twisted to look like the stamen of a flower! How cute!
So, here is my question to you... My hubby is working... I want to get these babies working...Yesterday! How would you attach them to the wall as holders? How would you attach them to the copper pipe? I have my ideas, but I'm curious as to what other folks might say, maybe someone else has a better way!
Hey, have a great Weekend!

Knobs are another of my insane addictions! I LOVE KNOBS--especially ones that look exactly like that!! I love the stories behind such finds too!
I'll get back to you on the whole "attaching" thing. I know there is something I saw--with knobs-- attached to the wall!

I don't know the answer to your question but those knobs remind me of my grandmas house. I love to dig through antique places just to see what I can find,I love old things! Hey,so happy you stopped by my blog, loved reading your blog.

Oh, those are wonderful! Absolutely gorgeous knobs. I, too have a thing for knobs. I remember the ones in my great aunt's house when I was young. They must have been similar to those in that I always remember then as crystals. The feel of those knobs was something I'll never forget. Luxurious.
